Help with Fees

The government have implemented many ways to help with your nursery fees.

At Blue Pear Day Nursery and Pre-School we are happy to offer the following:


Early Years Entitlement 

15 hours Funded Childcare for 3&4 Year olds: 

Pre-School children are eligible for 15 hours per week during term time or the equivalent

over the course of the year.

We are able to receive government funding if you would like your child to access the 15 hours entitlement. We require you to complete a parent declaration form along with identity documents including your child's birth certificate. Your 15 free hours will be deducted from your monthly

invoice if your child attends the nursery for more than 15 hours. 


15 hours Funded Childcare for 2 Year olds: 

Some two year olds are also entitled to 15 hours funded childcare per week, during term time

or the equivalent over the course of the year.

30 hours Funded Childcare for 3&4 Year olds (From September 2017) 

If eligible, you are entitled to an additional 15 hours of free childcare per week to use

flexibly - all together 30 hours per week.

Childcare vouchers 

We accept all major childcare vouchers including Kiddicare vouchers, Busy Bees, Sodexo and Computershare.

The amount you can get in childcare vouchers depends on how much you earn and when you joined

the scheme. You pay for your childcare before tax and National Insurance deductions are made,

making substantial savings in tax and national insurance per year.

Tax-Free Childcare 

This is government scheme to help working parents with the cost of childcare.

Parents can open an online account, which they can use to pay for childcare.

For every £8 a parent pays in, the government will pay in an extra £2. Parents can receive up to

£2,000 per child, per year, towards their childcare costs, or £4,000 for disabled children.

30 Hours Free (Funded) Childcare​

We offer 30 hours free childcare per week (term-time only) subject to

availability at the nursery.

Please contact us regarding reserving a 30 hours funded place for your child. You will need to be eligible for 30 hours and present your code in order to access

30 hours free childcare.



All 3&4 years olds are entitled to 15 hours free childcare per week, from September 2017 an additional 15 hours is being offered to parents (total 30 hours). You will need to apply for this additional 15 hours through 
www.childcarechoices.gov.uk and get your 11 digit access code.

This code will need to be presented to your nursery in order to gain these additional 15 hours.

Fees are subject to annual review.


Our fees are inclusive of all meals and snacks provided throughout the day.


Please note that those accessing funding will be charged an hourly rate for any hours above the free entitlement.
